CHAINSAW ARTIST

 

Brad Carico has spent his professional life working in the outdoors as a forester in the timber industry and with the Virginia Department of Forestry. While attending the Virginia State Fair as a FFA member in the 1980’s, his interest was peaked by a chainsaw artist working the fair.

 

A few years ago, Brad decided to give it a try himself. Since then, his chainsaw carvings have found homes from Maine to the Carolinas. A Carroll County native, Carico is looking forward to demonstrating this art form at the Carroll County fair this year.
